Maribor Tourist Board at ITB Berlin 2025

The Maribor Tourist Board participated in ITB Berlin 2025, one of the world’s leading international travel trade shows, held from March 4 to 6, 2025. As a global platform for tourism, ITB Berlin showcased a full spectrum of travel products and services under the inspiring slogan, "The World of Travel Lives Here."

This year’s event brought together exhibitors and tourism professionals from around the world, with a strong focus on key segments such as experience tourism, business travel, LGBTQ+ tourism, luxury travel, wellness tourism, and travel technologies. The fair provided an excellent opportunity to explore the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of tourism.

In cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Maribor Tourist Board stood out with its presentation highlighting the strong connection between culture and tourism. Our central theme, "Discover Maribor Through Art and Wine," emphasized how cultural and culinary experiences create unique and lasting memories for travelers.

We also took part in the Culture & Artist Travel Talks, where Maribor's rich cultural and wine offerings were featured. The talks were moderated by German tourism expert Sabrina Gander and attracted media representatives, influencers, and industry leaders. Recordings will soon be available on the I Feel Slovenia YouTube channel and in podcast format.

ITB Berlin proved to be an excellent platform for networking with global tourism stakeholders, exchanging ideas, and fostering future collaborations in the promotion of sustainable and innovative tourism.
