A Journey Through the History of Maribor's Winemaking

Vinag 1847 is a historic wine cellar in the center of Maribor, spanning over 2 kilometers of underground tunnels. Its tradition dates back to 1847 when the nobleman Alojz Plemeniti Kriehuber from Melje started winemaking and built the first wine cellar. Today, Vinag combines over 170 years of heritage with premium wines that reflect the quality and passion for winemaking.
