The exhibition will showcase selected archival and other material from the events of 1918-1920, which had a fatal impact on Slovenian Styria and Carinthia. Maister's actions in taking military power in Maribor and fighting for the northern border are recorded in photographs, posters, proclamations, newspaper articles and his memoirs. The exhibition reveals some of this material, outlining Maister's important role in the turbulent period of the formation of the Yugoslav state, as well as the reactions to Maister's death and his final journey.
