For the first time, we will place an Advent wreath in front of our cathedral on Slomšek Square, which will take our citizens through December and the preparation for the birth of our Savior. So every Saturday night in Advent at 6:30 p.m., we will turn on one light on the Advent wreath. The first ceremonial lighting of the Advent lights by archbishop will take place on Saturday, November the 30th at 6:30 p.m. with an accompanying cultural program. The lighting of the second Advent light on the wreath will be on Saturday, December the 7th at 6:30 p.m. with an accompanying cultural program. The lighting of the third Advent light on the wreath will be on Saturday, December the 14th at 6:30 p.m. with an accompanying cultural program. The lighting of the fourth Advent light on the wreath will be on Saturday, December the 21st at 6:30 p.m. with an accompanying cultural program. Various choirs from Maribor and the youth group Stolnica will participate in program. Invited!
