Maribor Pohorje will host the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships from February 2 to 11, 2025. This is a prestigious annual competition promoted and approved by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).

The competition will include multiple disciplines, such as downhill, super-G, slalom, and giant slalom.

Access to the venue will be facilitated by the Pohorje cable car, which connects the parking area with the competition site.
