Kadonnut Manner

The Finnish acoustic guitarist Kadonnut Manner ("The Lost Continent"), a solo instrumental fingerpicking project by Lauri Manner from Rovaniemi, will be touring Central and Eastern Europe between March and May 2025, with a stop in Vetrinjski.

His wordless music tells stories, explores history and new possibilities of blues and roots music, and captivates with hypnotic rhythms, memorable melodies, and a raw, cinematic sound that evokes vivid imagery in the listener's mind. He draws inspiration from John Fahey's American primitive guitar, the country blues of Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt, as well as Finnish folk music. By weaving together different traditions and open tunings, he creates a journey into uncharted worlds—all with a single steel-string acoustic guitar.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.
