The Maribor singer-songwriter Marko Grobler released his first solo album Iz dneva v dan (Day by Day) in April 2011 (label Celinka). Although this is his debut solo album, it is marked by a mature expression, which is the result of many years of experience.

After collaborating in various music groups, in 1999 he formed the band Ezl ek, with which he released the album Hitim zgubljen skoz’ mesto (I Rush Lost Through the City), and later continued his solo music career. As a composer and lyricist, as well as a performer, he regularly performed at various festivals.

Through collaborations with renowned creators, he has contributed music to many projects: he worked for many years with poet and writer Feri Lainšček (monograph about Prekmurje and an album titled Občutek za veter [Feeling for the Wind]), contributed music to the documentary film by director Maja Weis (Občutek za veter), and to the documentary film by director Bojan Labović Mariborska dvorišča (Maribor Courtyards)… In recent years, he has collaborated with poet Borut Gombač, with whom he released the album Melodije zamolčanih besed (Melodies of Silenced Words).

This time, in addition to songs from previous periods, he presents new songs, which he will perform in a new acoustic arrangement with excellent musicians.
