The primary goal of the residency was to provide the visiting cultural workers with insight into the local infrastructure and production capacities of the local, independent cultural scene. This served as a starting point for the original works that were created during the residency. The residency process was not exclusively production-oriented but experiential, with an emphasis on integrating the residents into the local scene and aiming to get to know the individuals as its key players, understanding the mechanisms of its functioning, and gaining insight into the physical spaces dedicated to independent culture.

In March, the residency hosted two residents from Kosovo, interdisciplinary artist Diona Kusari and music researcher Ismail Myrseli, who explored the cultural landscape of Kranj and Ljubljana. In April, we hosted two residents from Croatia at the Vetrinjský Dvor studios in Maribor: photographer Sanja Merćep and journalist Matej Ivušić. During their residency, Sanja and Matej primarily explored the independent culture being produced and taking place in Maribor.
