Bor Prokofjev’s dance-movement debut Equilibrium is a transformative performance in which dance becomes a vessel for personal metamorphosis. The audience witnesses a profound evolution of self-expression and identity through constant movement. Physical limitations and repetitive external influences impact the human being not only physically but also mentally, causing instabilities that the performer faces within his solo. These very instabilities push him into unknown situations.

Equilibrium means balance. Through the continuous motion of the physical and mental body, the dancer journeys out of balance in order to discover something new within himself—and to integrate it into his own equilibrium.

Bor Prokofjev is a professional dancer, mover, performer, music producer, and DJ. Throughout his years of experience, he has studied and explored numerous fields and approaches: improvisation, choreography, dance and theatre performances, site-specific works, children’s shows, freestyle/urban dance, street performances, and dance battles. He works across a wide spectrum of dance and performance techniques.

Since 2018, he has collaborated with various Slovenian and international artists and participated in numerous productions, including:
Chorus (Žigan Krajnčan, Gašper Kunšek),
Triadic Ballet (Jan Krmelj),
Peter Klepec (SNG Drama),
Cypher (Sara Šoukal, Žigan Krajnčan, Alexander Matthias Tesch),
Honey Sparks In The Dark (Kristijan Krajnčan),
Fusion Reactor (Žigan Krajnčan, Flota),
and Dis:Place (Andrea K. Schlehwein, Netzwerk AKS).

In 2022, he created his first short solo work From Inside Out.
