The Feast of St. Martin in Maribor
Maribor’s feast of St. Martin is the holiday’s biggest celebration in Slovenia, with tons of visitors from home and abroad flocking to Štajerska’s capital. This year’s events will be bigger, better, and tastier than ever.
The main event, featuring a large "Martinovo" celebration, a traditional must ceremony, and stalls selling young wine and local cuisine, will take place on Leon Štukelj Square. Meanwhile, wine and culinary offerings with a musical program will also be available for Maribor residents and tourists on Koroška Street, where the event will begin earlier.
MARTINOVO EVENTS:
- Friday and Saturday, November 8th and 9th, from 10 AM to 8 PM on Koroška Street
- Sunday, November 10th, in Malečnik
- Monday, November 11th, from 10 AM to 9 PM on Leon Štukelj Square
Special Martinovo offer of local delicacies and catering:
- Friday and Saturday, November 8th and 9th, from 9 AM to 6 PM (market) on Grajski Square and Svoboda Square
- Friday to Monday, November 8th to 11th, from 9 AM to 11 PM (catering) on Grajski Square and Svoboda Square
