At the traditional concert Opera Night, conducted by maestro Simon Krečič, we present a diverse and stylistically varied musical program, featuring excerpts from the greatest opera successes of the current season and past years. With this concert event, which is free, open to all, and typically attended by crowds not only in the city of Maribor but also in other Slovenian cities, we promote Slovenian opera creativity and contribute to the popularization of opera and related musical genres.

• Emmerich Kálman: "Heia, heia, in the Mountains is My Homeland", Silvia's aria from the operetta "Countess Maritza" (soloist: Nika Gorič)
• Giacomo Puccini: "Te Deum (Tre sbirri ... Una carrozza ...)", Scarpia's aria and chorus from the opera "Tosca" (soloist: Domen Križaj)
• Gaetano Donizetti: "A Cry of Immense Joy Rises", wedding chorus from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor"

Opera Night is a collaboration between the Opera of the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor, Narodni dom Maribor, Društvo EZL EK, and Zavod za turizem Maribor under the honorary patronage of the Municipality of Maribor.
