From free open air concerts to the Children's Advent

From November 28 to December 31, 2024, Maribor buzzes with festive cheer during the Magical December program, offering events to suit every taste.

Trg Leona Štuklja Square sets the mood with DJs, free concerts, and a vibrant atmosphere, leading up to an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration.

Glavni Trg Square transforms into a festive wonderland with the Christmas Market and Children’s Advent in front of Alojzijeva Church, featuring dazzling video projections, captivating performances, and concerts for all ages.

Don’t miss the panoramic wheel, offering breathtaking views of the city’s glowing streets and landmarks—a true highlight of the season.

Even more magic for extra Christmas joy

You can enjoy cultural performances at the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, street performances, and puppet theatre, as well as exhibitions in cultural institutions and on the city streets. Vilinsko Mesto (Fairy Town) enchants the youngest visitors and all who still believe in magic.

The festivities extend beyond the city center, with joyful December events taking place at Dvorana Tabor Hall. Nearby, the festively decorated Ledna Dvorana Ice Hall offers ice-skating fun, including disco nights, family skating, and lessons for all ages.
