Ruše–Areh–Bellevue–Sp. Hoče-Botanical garden summer bus line
From June to September, the Ruše–Areh–Bellevue–Sp. Hoče-Botanical garden (and revere) summer bus line is available to visitors with intermediate stops at several well-know tourist points on Pohorje.
The idea of a bus connection on Pohorje came to life again this year, which will enable summer, hiking, cycling and culinary tourist offer on Pohorje. The project was supported by the Municipality of Maribor, the Municipality of Hoče-Slivnica and the Municipality of Ruše, as well as the Pohorje Hospitality Association in cooperation with the Marprom bus company.
Pohorje is a natural asset that is still under-promoted and under-offered as a winter and summer tourist destination. Past experience and refreshed infrastructure provide new opportunities for the growth of summer tourism on Pohorje. Tourists and locals alike can enjoy fresh air, sports activities and taste the true delicacies of Pohorje. So close, but also so far, since there is no regular line to Pohorje that would connect and bring visitors closer to nature and the tourist offer. Every year, the initiative of the surrounding municipalities is welcomed to connect with each other and offer a bus line for all those who want to see the beauties of Pohorje.
