Žavcarjev Vrh, 915 m, is an important summit in the eastern part of Kozjak, with long and narrow hills that rise above the northern side of the Drava valley. The hills are covered with forest, especially on the northern side, while the southern slopes and ridges are populated with remote farms. Short streams that flow into the Drava river have broken down the hills into short transverse ridges.
The ridge with Žavcarjev Vrh between Bistrica in the west and the Bresternica stream in the east is one of the broadest. The summit does not offer any views, but the hut of the same name stands at the upper edge of an extensive clearing below Žavcarjev Vrh.
