Guardian of Memory and Patriotism
Since its establishment in 2004, the Slovenian Military History Museum has been housed in the majestic Maribor Cadet School, fulfilling an honorable mission: safeguarding and presenting the rich military history of the Slovenians.
The museum is not just a repository of exhibits, but a temple of remembrance dedicated to preserving national identity and patriotism. Its extensive collections, ranging from weapons and uniforms to documents and photographs, bear witness to Slovenian soldiers' bravery, sacrifices, and triumphs throughout the centuries.
Visitors, both domestic and foreign, walk through the corridors of time, learning about the key milestones of Slovenian military history and paying tribute to the courage of those who defended their homeland. A special emphasis is placed on the heroic War for Slovenia in 1991.
