At a remarkable elevation of 346 meters, on the edge of the Slovenske gorice hill region, the Mountain Madonna dominates for almost half a millennium. From her sanctuary, she watches over the Drava River in the direction of Ptuj and over Maribor up into the green forests of Pohorje or the magnificent vineyards of Slovenske gorice.
