In the courtyard of the 3rd Gymnasium Maribor, there is a unique artistic bench named "Knowledge," consisting of three arms that, from a distance, resemble birds taking flight. When viewed from a closer perspective, they can also be interpreted as open books.
Thus, it all ties into the story of a free bird that, based on acquired knowledge, flies out into the world, which the author of the bench, Monika Lovše Rošker, used to symbolize the students there.
Monika Lovše Rošker studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Ljubljana and is a recipient of the Student Prešeren Award and other awards (Red Dot Design Award, Big See Product Design Award 2021, German Innovation Award).
