The unique artistic bench named Ensemble somewhat resembles a raft, but can also serve as a stage.
Two stones embedded in the bench (tonalite from Pohorje and sandstone from Kozjak) represent the mountain range and hills, between which the city of Maribor developed.
Between the synagogue and the defensive tower, between the temple and the fortress, between the secular and the sacred, stands a tree as the living axis of the square, while the bench, as an "ensemble," connects all these elements.
