Symbolizing the noble mission of the Slovenian Hospice Society, the unique art bench "Moment" commemorates their invaluable work in ensuring dignified farewells and fostering open dialogue about death.
Artist Vlasta Čobal Sedmak envisioned the bench as a space for quiet reflection and empathetic connection, inviting passersby to pause and connect with the stories of others.
Located on the scenic Drava Riverwalk in Maribor, the bench offers breathtaking views of the historic Lent district. Čobal Sedmak, an acclaimed sculptor and conservator-restorer, has received recognition from the Slovenian Association of Conservators for her expertise.
