Cultural Incubator

Cultural Incubator (KI) is an exhibition, educational, production, creative, inclusive, and open space of the Maribor Youth Cultural Centre (MKC Maribor) dedicated to culture and art, technology, learning, socializing, volunteering, participation, and sustainability.

The event space managed by MKC Maribor includes a center, exhibition space, studio, and basement with a common room, making the Cultural Incubator one of the central hubs for young creators and lovers of contemporary art in Maribor. It has developed into a versatile space that offers a wide range of opportunities for young people, artists, and the wider community and is constantly adapting to the needs of young people.

The Cultural Incubator is a place where exhibitions, workshops, performances, and social gatherings intertwine, stimulating creativity, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. In addition, it serves as a platform for empowering young people by providing them with support, advice, and assistance in realizing their projects. Cooperation with local actors and international partners enriches the KI program and creates a space for the dissemination of knowledge and experience.
